One of our stops on our way south was at Hot Springs, Arkansas. Timing was perfect for the 150,000 Dutch Tulips blooming at Garvan Woodland Gardens.

The lighting was great as it was partially overcast with the sun shining through in certain spots.

There were other spring flowers also such as azaleas, daffodils and hyacinths.

It was one of the most stunning places we could have found to view and photograph spring flowers.

The park covers over several hundred acres of huge pine along side of Lake Catherine. The highlight though is the thousands of flowers alongside the winding trails under the canopy of huge pines.
