I haven’t seen many sundogs lately but this week we did have some colorful ones that I was able to photograph alongside the shards.

Thursday evening, we not only had the moonrise on one side of the harbor but a beautiful sunset on the other side.

Before I headed home I stopped to listen to the singing ice as it thickened with the colder temperatures. I skipped about half a dozen rocks across the smooth ice. The rocks traveled several hundred yards creating awesome sounds that made you feel like a kid again.
