I was headed up to our garden area to put some scraps in the compost bin when I noticed our neighborhood friendly fox. She was curled up on the ramp to the garden shed. It was a nice warm spot on this beautiful sunny morning.

She started to walk into the woods.

After getting into the thick brush she changed her mind.

Back to her resting spot she headed.

They are so beautiful in their thick winter coat. It was like she was telling me are you going to let me sleep or not.

Something caught her attention from back towards the pond.

She circled around and let me get this unique shot before she curled up and was back sleeping in the snow again. I left her alone and when I looked two hours later she was still sleeping in the same spot. She must have caught several mice as the area around the raised beds in the garden were full of tracks and holes where she had jumped into the snow.
