February Snow Super Moon

We had a couple of outdoor adventures this week. The first was photographing the February Snow Moon rising in front of Split Rock Lighthouse.

Fox Den

The second was having two of our grandkids with us for the weekend to do some snowshoeing and just spending time together. While snowshoeing we found a fox den in one of our old brush piles. You could tell by the frost surrounding one of the four entrances that the fox was in there.

The grandkids got to see the pine marten which was pretty exciting for them.

When you see them closeup you can’t help but like them with that cute round face. But look at those claws.

Seeing all the wildlife definitely put smiles on our grandkids faces.
