The unseasonable low temperatures caused that spray to freeze on many of the trees and shrubs.

This spruce tree was one of my favorite spots to photograph the ice.

The morning temps hovered at zero which created sea smoke that looked like an approaching storm.

I crawled under a cedar tree to shoot up into the branches. It is amazing that these soft cedar branches can hold a lot of ice without breaking which is only because they are coated a little at a time.
