Hollow Rock Grand Portage

We had friends come up from the Twin Cities earlier in the week. We took a drive up the shore to visit Grand Portage State Park. On the way we stopped at Hollow Rock, which is a beautiful little Island that always gets covered with ice during the winter months.

At Grand Portage State Park we hiked up to the High Falls to see the ice formations on the waterfalls.

The ice along the shoreline in front of Cascade River State Park also made for nice photos.
