This week Grand Marais lived up to its title of “The Coolest Small Town in America” with a tremendous moonrise over the harbor.

Half a dozen photographers captured the scene along with several campers from the Grand Marais campground that were awed by the magic of the evening.

Later in the week I awoke before sunrise to discover a very foggy Duluth Harbor.

The Duluth Lift Bridge was invisible as it was not tall enough to be seen above the fog.

Enger Park Flower Garden

We went to Enger Park later in the day so our youngest granddaughter could enjoy the beautiful spring flowers. Silje loves to sniff flowers. Enger Park has many beautiful flower gardens so there were lots of them to smell.
