We stopped at Gooseberry Falls State Park the other day and the waterfalls are looking like spring.

Combined with snow on the rocks and frost on the cedars the falls area was very picturesque.

It had been cold enough during the night so that the spray from the falls created beautiful frost on the branches of the cedars closest to the falls.

This one was back lite by the morning sun. The background is the out of focus Upper Falls.

At the top of the Upper Falls was a small pool of water that had froze over during the night. It looked just like someone’s shoe froze in the ice.
