The lake was calm and the sky had many clouds, which turned the water into many different shades of reds and oranges.

The clouds lingered that evening creating a great sunset over the Sawtooth Mountains. The fog rolled in and created a whole new dimension to the colorful scene.

A couple came walking by and I asked if they would pose for a photo before the fog covered the shoreline. They were happy to oblige as they love Grand Marais and have been coming to the area for many years.
