The warmer weather has caused the fall colors to turn ever so slowly. The first fall color to appear is from the mountain ash berries turning a bright red.

A few maples are turning the vibrant red and orange that I look forward to seeing each fall. This tree is on the Lax Lake Road by Tettegouche State Park.

Early one morning I drove up to Mink Lake and got this shot of the maples reflected in the water while a small layer of fog covered the shoreline.

I don’t think I have ever seen a mushroom before with this beautiful chocolate brown color.
