With freeze warnings for tonight fall is definitely in the air. Another sign of fall is the beaver activity. They are hard at work on their houses and stocking up on their food supply.
I usually find beaver in Cascade River State Park but I checked the pond today and couldn’t find even one. The only sign of beaver that I saw this week was in the Grand Marais harbor.
