Bald Eagle

On the way home I came across this bald eagle feeding on a car killed deer. I slowly approached the eagle. The sun was setting which seemed to make the feathers glow from the soft light.

Frosty Morning 001

I made a trip to St. Paul this week to deliver prints to North American Art. Just south of Hinckley the trees were covered with frost. It was just beautiful. I exited the freeway but really didn’t know where to go. After a couple of miles and two or three random turns I came to this old barn that was surrounded by frost covered trees. There were several wild turkeys in front of the barn but they scampered before I could get any photos.

A couple of turns later and I came across these two horses enjoying the outdoors.

Neither one seemed to appreciate me taking their photo so they bolted.

Wolf or Coyote Crossing the Ice

In the Duluth harbor this wolf or coyote ran out on the ice. Several people have seen this photo and half think it is a coyote and the other half think it is a wolf. If any of you have any insight as to which let me know.
