This last week when the rest of Minnesota was experiencing some pretty intense heat it was great to spend time along the Shores of Lake Superior. Most of the week Grand Marais Harbor had gorgeous weather, clear sunny skies with the temperatures in the seventies. It brought many people to the water’s edge to experience relief from the heat. Fishermen headed out to catch salmon and lake trout.

Kayakers paddled the calm waters of the harbor, while others just walked along the beach taking in the sights and sounds of Lake Superior.
