Finally Snow on the North Shore 001

Winter has finally come to the North Shore. As I am writing this, we are in the midst of a snowstorm. Eight inches already and still snowing heavily.

I was snowshoeing for about an hour today and it is just beautiful in the woods. About 18 inches of snow on the ground makes skiing and snowshoeing very enjoyable.

If you postponed your North Shore winter trip now is the time to come. If you live here and haven’t been out in this beautiful snow I would highly recommend it.

Grand Marais Beaver Enjoying the Snow
