Snowshoeing

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We received another seven inches of snow Wednesday night so Thanksgiving Day wasn’t a good day to travel. We decided to stay home so the only travelling I did was on snowshoes. With the new snow on the trees and blue skies overhead the woods couldn’t have been prettier.

Shoreline Ice

The cold temps and high winds created some great ice along the shore in a few locations. Here you can see the Grand Marais light shining between the icicles.

The waterfalls are freezing and creating some pretty impressive ice formations.

Adam and Jordan Snowshoeing

Adam, our son, and his wife Jordan, came for the weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving. Some of the snow had blown off the trees but it still made for great skiing and snowshoeing.

In Search of the Perfect Tree

Before heading for home, Adam and Jordan searched for the perfect Christmas tree. We have so much to be thankful for this year. We pray that you had a fun time with family over the weekend.
