Beaver River

June is when the leaves take on the beautiful spring green color along the North Shore. This week I tried to capture some of those shades of green in several locations. This is the Beaver River in Beaver Bay.

Another shot of Tettegouche State Park. Most years Peregrine Falcons have a nest along this cliff. You can almost see the shape of a peregrine in the cloud hovering above the cliff.

This flock of geese was calling to each other as they flew over the top of Palisade Head.

As I was getting ready to leave I took this photo of this elderly gentleman having lunch. There isn't too many places where you can drive right to one of the most beautiful overlooks on the North Shore.

Beaver Pond

Even the small beaver ponds show off the beautiful greens of early summer.

One of the earlier flowers on the North Shore is the Lupine which are now showing off their beautiful colors.
