Purple Clematis 1

Every day more spring flowers are blooming. One of my favorite is the wild purple clematis. The purple clematis is a rather scarce vine that climbs on other vegetation by tendrils.

The North Shore is the only place I have seen this spring flower. It prefers rocky woods and slopes that can be found all along the North Shore.

Baby Robins

Several of you responded about the baby robins last week. Most of you would have done what I did. My split second reaction was to open the car door and scare off the squirrel. It happened so fast that I never even thought about taking the photo. The squirrel never came back. Here is a photo of one of the baby robins flying from the nest the next morning.
