Grand Marais Harbor
It was a blue sky day on the Grand Marais Harbor. Our daughter Rebecca was home with our granddaughter, Adeline, who loves walking the beach in the harbor and throwing stones. We spent almost the whole day just soaking up the sun and enjoying the calm waters of the bay.

The temperatures around most of Minnesota were in the 80’s and 90’s but the natural air conditioning of Lake Superior kept the shoreline in Grand Marias at a comfortable 72.
The Hjordis
Two of the wooden boats that sail Lake Superior were in the harbor. The Hjordis, that calls Grand Marias home, and the Zeeto that was here for the wooden boat show at the North House Folk School. Sunday morning the lake was so calm that the boats made great reflections in the water.
Lupines
The lupines are starting to bloom on the shore creating some great color.
Adeline In The Lupines
Our granddaughter loves the outdoors and always is asking us to take her outside.
Adiline
If you take her outside she is smiling most of the time.
